Looks good... but it would be very nice to have step-by-step mode like this tool has http://weitz.de/regex-coach/

That seems to be more of a debugging feature. And QuRegExmm is more so for "type, test, go" regex creation.

Thanks for the feedback.

PM me if you want to be a contributing developer for QuRegExmm, it would be nice to see it implemented.

Hi!

Nice looking app!;)

Have you looked at the RegExTester at http://www.wxCodex.net ?

On Windows:

On Ubuntu:

The same with yours on Windows:

Feel free to use anything in the tutorial that may appeal. I find wxRichTextCtrl to be quite advantageous. It's more efficient than wxTextCtrl for display styles. I also like to use splitter windows to allow the user to resize things to his liking.

Thanks for sharing!:-)

thx,
Dave S.

Unfortunately, I originally designed QuRegExmm using 2.6.0 and wxRichTextCtrl wasn't avail. at that time. But I may begin to use it, I have some big syntax highlighting changes for the 1.0 release; probably using wxScintilla.
