Support for MS ActiveX Control Containers

Post by piotrtrojanowski » Tue Jan 23, 2007 11:08 am

How can one embed an ActiveX control into wxWidgets application?

MFC provides several classes to deal with this, see COleControlContainer. I am looking for something similar in wxWidgets.

Please, can you share the knowledge how this can be done?

Thanks for every piece of information!

Actually I need something more than wxAutomationObject.

I am looking for a way to embed 3rd party ActiveX components into my wxWidgets application window.

This is a separate issue from just connecting to 3rd party application that runs externally (not as a part of my wxWidgets app).

Here is the answer:

wx\include\wx\msw\ole\activex.cpp

Great!

Can anyone shere their experience?

Thanks!
