Well, this is a (kind of) announcement. I came accross this useful site yesterday and would like to share information I found useful it with the community of wxWidgets app developers.
The BitRock installer provides installers with the same native look and feel that wxWidgets gives to apps, allowing to make easy installers for Linux apps.
The link to their site: http://www.bitrock.com
Yes, it's a commercial product, but if your project is OpenSource, a special agreement which allows you to use it for free (http://www.bitrock.com/buy_opensource.html) can be arranged with them. If your project is commercial and is to be released for both Windows and Linux, the investment may be worth considering.
Of course, if you're only developing for Windows, this is no real alternative to Inno Setup nor NSIS.
Best regards.

OSX support
OSX support is coming soon (weeks not months)
At one point in time we would also like to make it easy to bundle wxwidgets
libraries with your applications (select one checkbox and they will be included as part of the install).
Un saludo
