Money Manager Ex 0.5.0.0 (Alpha) Released

Money Manager Ex is a free, easy-to-use personal finance software. It primarily helps organize one's finances and keeps track of where, when and how your money is utilized.

The program supports checking accounts, savings and credit card accounts, as well as Portfolio accounts. The Outlook-style interface provides an overview for all your accounts and total balance. You can transfer money between account, create custom categories to organize your income/expenses and more.

Money Manager Ex is possible due to wxWidgets.

Its hosted on Sourceforge, but I couldn't find the code. Are you supplying or not.

Well, I made the commit to CVS yesterday night and because anonymous CVS lags developer CVS access I think it is stale.

But I appreciate the feedback and the issues will be fixed.

I don't think, it due to taxes, its due to this forum, people are interested in trying up.

I have a similar package which is freeware. It's been around for a few years. It includes import of transactions from your bank (Quicken, Money format).

Yes, I have OFX and QIF import. If you are releasing under GPL you may want to take a look at libOFX (http://libofx.sourceforge.net/).

I rolled my own OFX import.
