I modified button.cpp to fully support Unicode, but only on Windows platforms. Is it still valid code, or new 2.5.3 version is making my code obsolete?

You can find my code in http://www.dejudicibus.it/dizionario/co ... ton098.zip. Feel free to download it and use it.

I'm confused. Didn't wxButton fully support Unicode in 2.4.2 (and 2.5.3 aswell)?
