To put simply: some boxes with lines/arrows between them. In the olden days there was something like that, but I guess bit-rot meant it got dropped.

Looked up my old code. wxGraph was the beastie I used back then. Found the source code to it on the original WxWindows CD-ROM from 1997. It's really just the layout code I want.
