Battlefield 2

Post by sethjackson » Sat Dec 03, 2005 11:02 pm

Hi I just wondered how many people on the forum if any play BF2?
I have played it for a few months or so but the account server seems down
so I can't play online. :(

I program way to much to play games. The only game I do like to play is UT2004.

Too bad the server is down ;-) now you have to do some programming instead I guess ;-)

LOL I haven't played UT but it looks pretty cool, and they programmed it for Linux. Anyways the BF2 servers are back up. :)

About the programming part.... Well I'm only 15 so I program when I feel like it and that means about the same time than I spend playing BF2. :)

LOL - I still play the original one - the 2004 version probably wouldn't run on my machine, only a 500PIII with a 8mb tnt, LOL :).

Well I was fortunate enough that my company decided we could all get a Dell 3Ghz 1 Gb internal with ATI radeon 9800 for at home. Didn't costed me a dime. Downside is when I get fired, I have to give the PC back. But 3 years are nearly over now, and then I can keep it with a symbolic fee of 10% of the original value.

And since we play UT at work (the original one), I need something at home to improve my skills, but is not that outdated ;-)

HAHA. I don't play the original much anymore. When I did play it I played the Desert Combat mod.
