Wiki editing errors

Post by tigerbeard »

I am tryping to edit some pages of the wiki. I am getting errors, to which I can not find an explantion on the wiki ifself

Trying to add a page and tryping to put stuff to my own Talk page and gave me
*** Forbidden. You submitted too quickly. You may try again in a few seconds. ***
- This did not went away after a few seconds, but after a few minutes

Then I got this when editing a page
*** Forbidden. Message seems to be spam. ***
No extremy enouraging to spend your time to add some information to the wiki when getthing things like that. First time I got this when i did not enter a "Summary" (at least after doing that it went away). Seonce time though, I had a 100% hand written summary and still got that. Please explain what it means and put a link in there.

Please review those messages and put a link in them that one can find out how to avoid them. A bit less harsh wording might be another idea.

[Edit] I gave up on my 2nd edit. Kept calling it spam. I threw it away...

I have no idea who's responsible for the Wiki page, try asking on the wx-users group / mailing list.

Use the source, Luke!
