Shouldn't http://wxwidgets.org/intro.htm be updated?

Shouldn't http://wxwidgets.org/intro.htm be updated?

Post by kentl » Mon Aug 01, 2005 11:06 pm

Hi!

This is my second post ever on this forum, but I think that the issue deserves to be noticed.

I was reading http://wxwidgets.org/intro.htm to get to know WxWidget's history a bit better.

The headline "Where now", the second paragraph:
The wxMotif port will probably become less relevant, as Sun has adopted the GTK+ widget set. It's likely that we'll see wxX11 begin to be adopted in embedded solutions over the coming months, as well as for desktop Linux applications that for whatever reason need to be independent from GTK+ and Motif. It's possible that a port to Windows CE will emerge in 2003.
As you can see it talks about that things will happen during the upcoming months. And that it is likely that a Windows CE port will emerge during 2003. The conclusion is that the text is from < 2003.

I thought it would be interesting to know. It might be time for an update of that page? A lot of things must have happened?
Best regards,
Kent Larsson

Julian takes care of this - just mail wx-dev and it'll usually get fixed quickly
