Does that mean I can use this library to help create my application and then only distribute a binary form?

And in reverse, does that mean I am not allowed to distribute my modified work if I include the source code?

Can I later sell such an application?

Under all open source license you can distribute the code also, but in wxWidgets license, you can also distribute only the binary without or with the code.

No, because this is very against the principle of open source. You can distribute the code also.

Wow fantastic. I'm in research so I'm not sure if I can code everything under the gpl so this is awesome for me.
