Hi, I'm currently using Alpha release of wxDev-C++ 6.10.

I've tried to compile a working project that was compiled previously using DevC++ 6.8

When I compile, I get error which reads
error message - Could not create Makefile:"C:\my directory\Makefile.win" I/O error 32
build error - [Build Error] No rule to make target C:/directory/main.o', needed by 'mainframe.exe'. Stop.

Can anyone help me out, thx in advance

Do have write access to that directory? Does it exist?

yep, I do have access to it, its where all my project files were saved.

Hi Sky,

I cant offer a solution but I had a similar experience. Have a look at "wxDev-C++ for Visual C++" thread
