At execution this is the main window showed:

I installed from full package and also from web: same result.

wxDev-Cpp 7.4.2 - blank main window (?)
Re: wxDev-Cpp 7.4.2 - blank main window (?)
wxDev-Cpp hasn't seen an update in three years. If you're trying another IDE than CodeBlocks i suggest CodeLite. http://codelite.org/
Use the source, Luke!
Re: wxDev-Cpp 7.4.2 - blank main window (?)
Thank you!
I'm selecting an IDE for general use, to develop for Win /Lin / Mac.
So i'm testing most used (Code Blocks, Dev-Cpp, ...). CodeLite will be next on my test line.

I'm not familiar with Win 10, but it's still installing on XP and Wine 1.6.2 on Linux. If you're interested, I'll try it on Wine 1.8.2 that I just installed two days ago.
However, doublemax is correct as always. There is no percentage in starting to learn abandonware. I've tried Code:blocks but I guess I'm too stupid to understand the tutorials. If you find one that is easy to understand and does a simple example like creating a frame with a dialog box, please send me the link by privaqte message. Still, it would be great if you could post the results of your survey right here.
