32 bit support from 64 bit platform?

Post by alancan » Tue Dec 06, 2011 3:34 pm

Hi,

I would simply like to know if I can still develop programs for 32 bit operating systems, if I switch to 64 bit Win 7 and create my programs from that machine. Are there options such as in Visual Studio where I can target the platform?

Thanks!

Alan

The gcc 3.4.5 compiler that we ship with wxDev-C++ is a 32-bit compiler. So for now all of your programs will be compiled in 32-bit and will run on 32-bit (and 64-bit) machines.
