This is more of an annoyance then a bug but would it be possible to save the path to the Makefile being used for compilation in the Project Options dialog so that the values remain when the project is reopened? The values in the Build Option tab are saved across closing and opening of a project. I haven't checked the values in other tabs though.
Thanks
Makefile option not saved

In order to compile gnuplot, I'm using the custom makefile supplied with the source code. I need to set the path to the makefile in the project options each time I open the project.
One work around would probably to rename the file I'm using to the name that the IDE expects to find. I tried copying the file into the same directory as the .dev file and calling it "Makefile" but that doesn't seem to work.
What is the name of the file I should use so that the IDE picks up the custom Makefile each time the project is opened?
Thanks

Have you tried Project->Project Options->Makefile tab? Click the box at the top labeled "Use custom makefile" and in the box below specify your gnuplot makefile.mstampfer1 wrote:In order to compile gnuplot, I'm using the custom makefile supplied with the source code. Apologies, I wasn't very clear in the original post. The Project->Project Options->Makefile tab is the field that tis not being save when the project is closed.Have you tried Project->Project Options->Makefile tab? Am I mistaken or is the information in this field lost each time the project is closed?

Not currently. That's one of the deficits I noticed too. It should be easy enough to add in the next release (but that probably won't happen for several months).mstampfer1 wrote:Additional to this, saving breakpoints between sessions of the IDE.
Can breakpoints be saved in a file somewhere and set when the project file is reopened?
