support for wxPHP needed

I have been using wxPHP on Ubuntu-14.04/16.04/18.04 for years, but the latest wrappers are for PHP-5.6 and wxWidgets-3.0.2 . Support (Jefferson Gonzalez) is permanently busy, so an up to date wxPHP has effectively died, which is a real shame.

Would anyone like to take over the job of creating wrappers for PHP-7.2 and wxWidgets-3.0.4 on Ubuntu-18.04?
Jefferson has several ideas on ways of automating it, which I don't understand.
