Does anyone know how to implement image maps to replace the standard "elevator" on a scrollbar?
I've included a png image of an example.

I'm not 100% sure that's what you mean, but you can't change the look of native scrollbars in wxWidgets. The only way would be to hide the native one and create a custom one from scratch.
