Post by ratsietsi » Thu Oct 15, 2009 6:02 pm

I am interesting in knowing, can one create website widgets using wxwidgets. I am new to developing with wxwidgets and wxpython, just like using javascript, or php, or ASP. But I know one can create websites with python. Is there a web tool kit for wxpython?

The closest that I know of is my project: lionface

http://lionface.googlecode.com

It uses ExtJS to render windows and other widgets. Its rather, inactive, but I am starting to work on it again (slowly but surely).

regards.

wxWebKit seems a potential candidate, not sure if it has python bindings though

Thank you all very much. I checked out webkits, and it seems its been inactive for a while, and it does not have python bindings.
I have not checked ExtJS but I will as soon as I get the chance. Thanks.
