Post by wendell » Thu Feb 24, 2005 5:13 pm

Hi all!

I'm new on wx World and i have a question:

How wx works with firebird via iodbc, if the firebird driver works with unixODBC?

Thanks,
Wendell.

It should be supported fine in 2.5.4

ABX
CVS Head, 2.8.X
wxMSW, wxWinCE, wxPalmOS, wxOS2, wxMGL, bakefile
gcc 3.2.3, bcc 5.51, dmc 8.48, ow 1.6, vc 7.1, evc 3/4, pods 1.2

So, i have to wait until next wx release?
That message talks just about windows odbc.
And about Unix, which there are many flavours of odbc engines?

Will it work with iobdc or unixODBC?

Thanks,
Wendell.

No. 2.5.4 is available for downloads thought for various reasons not announced. But you can work with CVS builds too, you do not need release if you are during early development and can accept minor issues related to using CVS.

I do not know. You can ask George Tasker through mailing list using gmane interface I linked to.
