hello everybody!

first of all, i post this topic here because i don't know where to, and i supose this is the most crowded forum.

i'm doing an installer with wxpython, and i want to change the bmp image that appears in the wxpython installer(i'm basing on it to create my installer). hoy can i change this image?

Python.org is down right now so I can't check the online docs, but I believe you can do this with an appropriate line in your setup.py file. Check the documentation on the distutils module.

Checking the distutils docs, it's actually passed as a command line option to setup.py, when you generate the installer. See http://python.org/doc/2.4/dist/postinst ... cript.html

ok, i've found the solution! :lol:

You have to put the bmp option in the command line, like this:

setup.py bdist_wininst --bitmap="logo.bmp"
