I have started programming in wxwidgets in Linux and the first example finds a few fundemental things that just don't work. But I am new, so I may be missing the other way to do it.
wxClientDisplayRect returns size of meta desktop in xinerama or mergeFB this is 3200 x 1280 (this is mentioned as not implemented in docs)
wxGetDisplaySize returns the same, not the size of the screen 1600x1280. but when we divide by 4 and times *3 for the width, it is in the middle of one screen but too wide. Kinda half one way and half another. A work around is not doable becasue then it would look bad on a single monitor system.
I want the size of the SCREEN (in xorg parlance).
we are gonna need
GetScreenSize,GetDesktopSize added for linux and let it return same as Get display size on those non X boxes ????
I also want the size of the Window in addition to the size of the client area.
These are crutial to any GUI toolkit.
Attempted use o toolbar results in GTK assertion errors.
How complete is Linux "port"
