[linux][3.1.1] shortcuts <letter> and shift <letter>

Do you have a typical platform dependent issue you're battling with ? Ask it here. Make sure you mention your platform, compiler, and wxWidgets version.

[linux][3.1.1] shortcuts <letter> and shift <letter>

Post by sophie » Sun Nov 25, 2018 2:11 pm

In software I am working on, on Linux (debian stretch) the shortcuts <letter> and Shift-<letter> don't work, whereas the Ctrl-<letter> ones work fine. On Mac and on Windows, all of them work.
I know a similar issue has been brought to here already, and it seems to be because of the use of panel
Has somebody found a workaround ?
Thank you

(Do you really have an empty wxPanel?)

This was reported on wxtrac in 2016. Have you tried the workaround suggested there?
