when running my wxWidgets application under Windows 7 with no changes made to the system-UI, the checkboxes come with a white text background:
Other elements like static texts do not show this behaviour. So what do I have to do to let the checkbox texts appear with the correct background colour? Simply setting a suitable, fixed colour can't be the solution, because this colour does not necessarily fit to other operating systems/user interface configurations.
