Taskbar icon not appearing with other tray items

Hi,

TaskBarIcon at times does not get displayed in the tray with other icons(like the network manager), it goes to the opposite side , in Ubuntu 11.04 with the default theme.

This problem occurs only in this scenario..

Can anyone help with the solution to this.

Is this wx 2.8, and is your ubuntu using Unity? Unity broke a lot of stuff by breaking standards, and wxWidgets 2.8 is totally Unity-unaware

It is wxwidgets 2.8.m Not really sure of if my ubuntu uses Unity or not

The Ubuntu version I use does not use unity.

Thanks. Would there be any work-around for wxWidgets 2.8 - Unity Tray Icon?

If not, can somebody check and give the roadmap of wx 2.9 for this issue? ( I haven't found anything specific on 2.9 release notes for this issue ).
