VS2019 and wxWidgets issue

Post by Slyde » Fri Apr 03, 2020 4:10 am

I compiled wxWidgets-3.1.3 with Visual Studio 2019, loaded the minimal program and ran it. No problems.

My problem is that I can't figure out how to access a form designer. No matter what I do, I can't find that part. No form. No wxWidgets. Nothing. When I use Code::Blocks, this is not an issue at all. Everything I need to build a GUI app is right there, easily accessible.

Can someone help me with this? I can't find any links on it, and there's no vids on youtube that are helpful beyond setting up wxWidgets in the VS2019 IDE, which I've done.

Thanks.

VS doesn't containt special form designer for wxWidgets. You can use special tool instead, for example - wxFormBuilder.

I'll guess just stick with Code::Blocks and wxSmith. Seems simpler that way.

Thanks for the response, Kvaz1r.
