Reporting new forum features, or bugs / inconsistencies

Post by Jorg »

Hi guys,

To summarize all the requests of features, or wishes that might arrise about the forum (if you are sure the bug is related to this forum it might be posted as well, but preferrebly it should be posted to the phpBB forum instead). I opened a project called wxForum on my Mantis bug tracker, so features can be discussed.

So, it is ok to talk about the features here to kind of discuss the real need for them, but if they need to be applied, I would like to see them appear in the Mantis bugtracker. I will either add them myself (in due time) or you can add them yourself following these simple steps:

Go to http://bugs.solidsteel.nl

If you want to report a bug, simply create an account. The email addresses will not be published anywhere, they are used to email back the status (if desired) and discuss the feature if there is any need to.

After creating the account, on the right side you have a dropdown box where the project wxForum is located. In there you can switch to the project and report your issue.

For viewing only, there is anonymous access...

This way I hope to get some structure in my hectic life, and keep track of the requests...

regards,
- Jorgen

It would probably be a good idea to point out clearly that this is not for wxWidgets bugs or features. It's only meant for forum features/bugs (I hope there isn't any bugs, those should be taken care of at phpbb.com).

That's why there is only a category features or improvements :-)

Thanks for the contribution, whenever I have some time off I will start on the wishlist. I know there is more like converting the C syntax to C++, some mods that need to be taken care of, etc etc.

Thanks! Yes I love Mantis bugtracker. I used it for old projects as well, I am going to put my bugs that are still open in it soon for other projects I am working on. Serves as some kind of todo list ;-)
