Not to forget the forum only runs for less than a year... no bad score :-)

Its pretty amazing. Actually between the 3 major moderators they have 19% so that means that everyone has posted about 9 messages on average so far which is really good!

Congratulations guys, \:D/ =D>
Depending on what happens to me in the next months, as I'm really interested in developping applications with wxwidgets, perhaps you will count a fourth moderator in your team!!
Good continuation

We've technically got 7 moderators
http://forums.wxwidgets.org/groupcp.php?g=137

Although only 4 of us are really active at the moment...

Yes, true, actually I meant that you would have another active moderator. That is the reason why I don't ask for this right now, cause I am not sure I would be really active as a moderator should be for the moment, even if I have already posted more than the inactive moderators...

Well there isn't much to being a moderator .. The pay is lausy ;-)

Just kidding ofcourse, but things that we do are:
- Put [ code ] tags around other ppl's posts with code examples for readability
- Monitor the wx-users list as well, and once in a while tell people not to x-post
- Monitor the language people use. We had one issue here with verbal language and one political issue, but mostly people are very kind
- Move around posts which are in the wrong forum
- Split posts if people go ask stuff when somebody else is announcing something, the chance other people will react to that is low, so a split of the post is making the post more visible
- Merge similar posts

That's about it .. nobody is expected to do much, but if we all do a bit it can make a difference. There is no designated forum for a person to watch, we all watch all forums :-)

Heh, I do this usually every day, lol :).

Its like my sole purpose is to tell people not to crosspost, LOL. Ok, just kidding...

Actually, if I become moderator, I will mostly do like upCASE, I mean giving people solutions to their problems. But for the moment, I don't think I know enough about wxWidgets to become moderator, since I won't be able to answer 9/10 of the posts...

Well GianT, if you are worried that you need to be a skilled wx C++ developer to also be a moderator, that has nothing to do with it. It is more common sense and the conmfidence of what you do is right. That sometimes means people must be told not to x-post, or posts must be moved around ..
