I think at some point in the near past the forum navigation bar (the one with "FAQ", "Search", "Memberlist" etc) got wider. I can't remember exactly when it happened, i guess when "Add Firefox Forum Search" was added.
Unfortunately this forces me to resize my browser window almost to fullscreen, otherwise i get a horizontal scrollbar and i can't read the forum posts easily any longer. And wide texts lines are harder to read in general.
Is there any way to avoid this?
Maybe some switches in the user profile to hide certain links?
Or divide the navigation bar in 2 lines, e.g. put the user-specific links (Profile, Private messages, Log out) into a second line?
I know this sounds pedantic, but it really annoys me.
Forum navigation bar too wide Topic is solved

Use the source, Luke!
I would vote for a side bar. Where we can also put our other links in like the wx help, bug report links, wx homepage etc.
I wanted to do this, but never got around doing that.

Hi!
As a temporary fix I'll see if I can split it in two lines.
Sorry for this, I guess I didn't "see" that as I'm on 1280*1024

Well it is not as ugly as I thought. It looks ok to me for a while
I wanted to make a frame where the left side is the menu, but I needed gfx that fitted in the forum, and I am a total noob with CSS and all of that so that's why I never got around creating a sidebar ..
With regards,
