Failure to register

Post by Auria » Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:39 pm

I just got this in my inbox:
Sorry for the sub-standard method of emailing you
through your sourceforge account for this but if your
not registered at the forum you cannot view any email

Anyway quite awhile ago (2-3 weeks) I tried
registering at the wxwidgets forum but I never
recieved an activation link. (I checked my bulk mail
as well.) I assume I must of made a typo in my email
address or something. anyway, if you (or forward this
email to some one who can) could send me the
activation link to this email account
(...) I would appreciate it, thanks.
Can someone who has forum admin knowledge and rights take care of this please?

Wow, I'm sorry for causing you grief. I just saw this message from Auria for the first time. If you would have emailed me I would have been able to help you right away.

Anyway, this forum is ran by volunteers who do not get paid a dime thus they are people who have a regular day job, and also a life to look after. So I am very sorry that I didn't help you right away. If this is the attitude you have, I surely hope that you won't get upset if people can't help you the very minute after you posted your problems.

And considering this message, what is really odd is that I check the forum every day. As Auria's post is from wednesday March the 19th I didn't spot it yesterday.

oh... you know what though, could someone remove my email address in aurias post? I get enough spam as it is.
