BuildNumber

Do you like to promote your wxWidgets based application or component!? Post it here and let's see what the critics have to say. Also, if you found that ONE wx component the world needs to know about, put it here for future reference.

BuildNumber

Post by Jorg » Sat Apr 08, 2006 9:09 am

I just found this tool:

http://buildnumber.sourceforge.net/

It is small, and very useful in your projects. When called it increments the build number in a header file. Compiled on linux it is about 4 kb so you could ship it with the project source. It is cross platform too so handy for us guys who want an auto build version update ;-)

[mod] Jorg maybe you want to use more intuitive titles?

[mod] please at least identify yourself, and what is there to be intuitive about it? The application is called "BuildNumber" so it is intuitive enough as an announcement / discovery. If this would be a question I would agree, but it does not really matter if people do not answer to this, does it ?

Ok, well I see nothing wrong with it. Please next time put your name there at least, it is kind of weird talking to someone who has comments but you're not able to talk back directly at the person ;-)
