GSoC 2014: Direct2D Implementation

Do you like to promote your wxWidgets based application or component!? Post it here and let's see what the critics have to say. Also, if you found that ONE wx component the world needs to know about, put it here for future reference.

GSoC 2014: Direct2D Implementation

Post by astronothing »

Hello,

I would first like to thank the wxWidgets organization members for giving me the opportunity of working on this project. I've set weekly milestones for myself when I wrote the proposition, and I would like to make my progress public.

For anyone interested, the git repository I'm working with can be found here: https://github.com/alexpana/wxWidgets

I also keep a wiki page over at github with the weekly progres here: https://github.com/alexpana/wxWidgets/w ... ss#week-10

Thank you again,
Alex.

I'm very interested in this project and will be following it.

Thanks for working on this and good luck.

Very good luck with this project, I am very much looking forward to using the results =D>

For reference, I am particularly interested in using this work with wxShapeFramework (http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxsf/).
wxWidgets 3.1.2, MinGW64 8.1.0, g++ 8.1.0, Ubuntu 19.04, Windows 10, CodeLite + wxCrafter
Some people, when confronted with a GUI problem, think "I know, I'll use Eclipse RCP". Now they have two problems.

I have added the updates for the second week in the first post. I didn't get around to making a demo though.

I've created a github wiki with the weekly changes. You can find it here: https://github.com/alexpana/wxWidgets/w ... n-Progress

Hello,

I've decided not to maintain two individual sets of weekly updates, so instead of editing the first post every week, I've added a link to the wiki where I regularly update my progress.
