Please forgive me if this is not the right place to post this message. I couldn't think of anywhere I'd be better able to locate a pool of wxWidgets capable programmers.
I run a small company in the UK. I've been developing (slowly and not terribly brilliantly) an application using wxWidgets for some time.
Our company is expanding and I just don't have the time to continue developing at the pace we require so I am now looking to outsource some discreet pieces of development work to an experienced C++ developer familar with wxWidgets.
As well as good technical ability, problem solving skills and the ability to deliver to tight timescales you'll need excellent communication skills in English.
If you think that could be you please contact me via PM with a brief introduction, an email address where I can contact you and an indication as to the sort of rate you'd be looking for.
Naturally if you are the lucky candidate criticising the poor quality of the existing code will not be tolerated.
Could even be a stoning offence
I have a specific development in mind that I wish to use as a litmus test, if it all goes well there may be considerable on-going work.
Thanks

Well done upCASE, you have passed the initial aptitude test
Apologies but I receive enough junk email that I would prefer not to publish my email address on a forum. Initial contact should be by Private Message here.
That said I have had two people respond already who seem very strong and who I have given some initial work to so that I can evaluate them better.
I probably wouldn't consider anybody else just at the moment unless one of the guys I have been speaking to turns out not to be as strong as I had hoped.
Unless the new applicant is really very strong. Talent is always attractive.
