This tutorial shows how to:
- install MinGW
- build wxWidgets-2.8.0 with MinGW
- install Code::Blocks IDE (which has nice new wizard for wxWidgets projects from now)
- create, configure and build small wxWidgets project

Hi what codec did you use? VLC (which has basically all the codecs needed built-in) could not play it. I get a spacy music, but a black screen.

It seems to be using some Microsoft codec called "MS-CRAM". Plays fine on my Windows XP.

Odd ... I use windows XP too. I didn't start it with MediaPlayer though. Would make sense that VLC does not carry that codec on board.

Vodeo: Microsoft Video 1 (which should be installed by default in WinXP)
Audio: MPEG Leyer-3 Codec (which is included in free K-Lite Codecs Pack available from http://free-codecs.com)
