sizers - a row thats spans over multiple columns?

Post by Vexator » Mon Jun 05, 2006 9:30 pm

can i do sth like that with wx sizers? so that i have e.g. a flexgridsizer with a caption in the first row and then three spinctrl's in the 2nd one, so that the first row spans over the three columns in the 2nd row?

Yeah, but you would have to embed use two embedded wxSizers.
/* UIKit && wxWidgets 2.8 && Cocoa && .Net */
wxPCRE & ObjPCRE - Regex It!

You're probably looking for wxGridBagSizer. However, I'm still unsure whether I like this class or not. You can achieve the same result with two wxBoxSizers, one wxVERTICAL and one wxHORIZONTAL (inside the first one); without the overhead of wxGridBagSizer. So far, I've always gone with wxBoxSizer in these scenarios.
