Is internat in wx312 broken

Hi,
I am unable to get into trac, so I am posting here.
When I switched my project to wx3.1.2 I noticed that _() aka wxGetTranslation id not working. I verified it in samples - internat example. In my situation it is not working - string are always in current locale regardless to choice. In wx3.1.1 everything is working fine.
Did I miss something?
My configuration: Win7, 64bit. Compiled with GCC (tested on 8.2.0 and 6.3.0).

I can confirm the issue with internat sample in 3.1.2. However, it seems to work in yesterday's master again.

I am glad to confirm that actual git version (pre 3.1.3) is working fine. Thanks
