Post by BlowdyNose » Tue Oct 04, 2005 9:53 am

Hi everyone,

how can I get the size ( i.e. the resolution ) of the desktop the user is currently using ( platform independent )?

As far as I know, that is only possible with wxDisplay. But I don't know if this is platform independent...
OS: win XP pro

There is a lot of information here :

http://www.wxwidgets.org/manuals/2.6.1/ ... tings.html

Sample of code :

Code: Select all

int heightScreen=wxSystemSettings::GetMetric(wxSYS_SCREEN_Y);
