Please note: I wasn't able to apply TinyMCE to wxWebView. That is why I changed to ckeditor, which worked (at least for windows10 with IE11).eranon wrote:Well, but back to your topic: yes, about TinyMCE, init and saving (w/o local web server) were the two main obstacles.
About the crash, did you try every possibility of IE emulation? Again, I don't know the current status of TinyMCE, but I remember that some years ago it better worked with old IE rather than most recent ones. So, maybe (and even if it's not really a "go forward" spirit) it could worth trying with older possibilities of IE emulation.
Im not sure how to try different emulations of IE in my webview, actually, except for the registry flag mentioned above.
Code: Select all
wxRegKey rk( wxT("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\Main\\FeatureControl\\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION") );
That sounds... huge?eranon wrote:Also, a completely other way would be to embed a light web server in you app
My App is supposed to b a little module, called by different other apps just for some html text manipulation. To have my own web server seems to be a little overkill, if you know what I mean. xD
