How to detect which wx object ring the bell error sound

Post by remi » Thu Feb 18, 2016 1:42 pm

Hi

I recently turned on the sound system of my workstation and I discovered that one of my wxWindow (or maybe something else) was generating a bell error sound when I do some actions on my software. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I would like to solve the problem.

Since I have a big loop on several hundred of wx elements It is difficult to locate the code that generate the bell sound.

Do you have an idea on how I could locate the problem? Maybe I could put a break point on some wx code but which one ?

Thank you very much

In case it helps, it should be turned off by wxValidator::SuppressBellOnError(), if you have a recent enough wxW version.
