Why not 'auto-link', as Boost ?

If you are using the main C++ distribution of wxWidgets, Feel free to ask any question related to wxWidgets development here. This means questions regarding to C++ and wxWidgets, not compile problems.

Why not 'auto-link', as Boost ?

When I create a new wx project with Visual Studio, I feel it is complex. Why not auto-link? You know, Boost makes it easy.
