Executing OpenGL commands on wxGLCanvas

Executing OpenGL commands on wxGLCanvas

Hello!

I have a class that extends wxGLCanvas. In this class, there are members functions that executes OpenGL commands.

I would like to know if it's possible to use OpenGL commands in functions that aren't called by
events, because I would like to call them "manually" and not place them in events.

There is a reason why the wxGLCanvas class is designed the way it is. What is it you like to do different?
