wxTextCtrl

Hi,
I'm looking for an option to paint the whole line of a wxTextCtrl into some backgrond colour. Is this possible at all?
I haven't found this feature in the manual: http://docs.wxwidgets.org/stable/wx_wxt ... wxtextctrl

I don't think it's possible with a regular text control; what precisely are you trying to achieve? If it's some kind of code editor, wxSTC or wxScintilla would do better

I agree with Auria. You need a wxRichTextControl or wxSTC.
