wxDb and wxDbConnectInf problems

Post by Felipe » Tue Jan 06, 2009 6:02 pm

Hello All,

I tried create one instance of wxDbConnectInf class but when I go to compile the compiler emmits the following error:

undefined reference to `wxDbConnectInf::wxDbConnectInf(void*, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&)'
undefined reference to `wxDbConnectInf::wxDbConnectInf(void*, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&, wxString const&)'

I already set the wxODBC variable to 1 in the setup.h file and included the needed files (#include <wx/db.h> and #include <wx/log.h> to log, e <wx/dbtable.h>)

I have too the libiodbc2-dev installed.

but the error appears continue. Someone have some a solution ?

Thank you.

Did you link to the lib? Which IDE and which OS are you using?

I am using Code::Blocks and Ubuntu Linux.

O don't know about lib linkage.

I have some libraries on /usr/lib/ path like libiodbc.so, a.
libodbc.so, .a and libodbc++-mt.so...

I have libiodbc2-dev installed here.

Thank you.

I'm using ODBC via OTL by linking "/usr/lib/libodbc.so" under Unbuntu 9.x in 32/64 modes. Which was the unixodbc-dev lib if I'm not mistaken (not sure, would have to check when I get home).

Have you built the wxGTK lib with ODBC support after setting the odbc indicator?
