Meant to give credit to the first guy who answered. Code that calls it through a button event: wxString input = InputBox->GetValue(); OutputBox->SetValue( grid->Decode(&input) ); //grid = new MatrixGrid() Decode function that takes the return value from encode. Never takes a value directly from the ...

wxAtoi

I haven't really seen much documentation on the global function but I think its somewhat strange that it cannot use a wxChar. In anycase:

Code: Select all

error: invalid conversion from `wxChar' to `const wchar_t*'
How do I properly go about the conversion?

If your declaring a class that's already made, then no. You would just link to the header of that class and then declare the class. MyClass aClass; //or MyClass aClass(); //Default constructor of class. It's very common practice to make separate files for the sake of code reuse. Though it is valid t...

Normally people wouldn't want to list ALL folder, subfolders, subsubfolders, etc. because it can lead up to HUGE amounts of output. Shit, if I did that on my CQPrograms directory, I'd probably be there for days! And to be quite honest, in Linux, I could make a script that runs through a loop and sub...

Use a debugger

Normally, I would be able to help you out due to my excess amounts of googling and research but I haven't really found much but a bunch of questions concerning GLib but none that really have a decent answer. As a result, I can easily recommend that you use a debugger in order to find where the probl...

But hit Ctrl + F and search for the documentation on SetCommTimeouts and GetCommTimeouts. This is use...

Why is wxWidgets forum not hosted on the wxWidgets domain and on the Shadonet blog site?
