Yep, your test works - but I found what was different in my program (I actually missed that in my first example) that makes it not work. Just add OnSize event handler (EVT_SIZE to event table) and that is it - the up button event is gone, the dragging disappears. Here is an updated example. It would...

Thank you for the reply! I tried the fix but didn't get too far :) 1) I still don't reliably get the mouse dragging events registered. Even in test program I get perhaps 1 out of 20 or 30 (though motion events are all there, just like they were before). 2) This does not help with regular mouse click...
