Yeah, it is probably not the best solution, but it is the easiest and the fastest way to do it, since I'm missing time... And all about Win32 API makes me angry :) I find it too complicated  >>upCase: I didn't see the link to your code, I just saw it. I like my method of killing explorer.exe t...

How to make a screen capture through a command line?

All is said in the title, I've spent hours searching for even a soft which can be run in the background (I don't want to see it taking the capture) and putting the screen capture in a file, but there is none...or the download doesn't work, or the soft just takes captures of windows and not a capture...

No, I know wxShutdown. Actually, I want to make the taskbar and the desktop icons disappear. Anyway, I foud this *** solution!! That was so easy, I had forgotten this command. The solution was to use taskkill command: wxExecute("taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe"); Now explorer.exe remains killed unless ...

Well, I found a dirty solution to do it, it kills all the processes of the name given. I used a soft named MUSK The Killer (http://www.muskcodec.com/tools/index.php?page=download) and in my program, I use wxExecute: wxExecute("The.Killer1.0.exe name=projet1.EXE"); But the problem is that the process...

[resolved]How to Kill a processus knowing only its name???

Hi, I took a look at wxProcess, but there is no way to get the process ID by giving its name. I found a code which did it, but it was for c++ builder, and the header files didn't exist in wxdev-cpp... Does anyone know how to do this under wxdev-cpp (or making it independant of the programming api)?[...

Ok, thanks, finally I have no time to deal with this problem, cause it doesn't seem that simple, but I will keep this function in mind for later.

Convert an image to a xpm file with a command line

Hi, I know some softs which can convert images to xpm files, but I would like one which can do it with a command line, that is to say that I don't want the soft to be launched, I just want it to do its work in the background. Does someone know a soft which can do that? (free if possible)

How do I convert a BMP/JPG/PNG/etc image into an xpm file? You can use softs like xnview (there must be others, just search on google). For those who don't know, xpm is a format used by wxDev-cpp and other development softs to deal with images. It converts it from an image file, but you might want ...

Another mistake I think, in the function OnServerEvent, you wrote wxSocketBase * pSocket = pSocket->Accept(false); I guess that the corect code is wxSocketBase * pSocket = pServerSocket ->Accept(false); And the last one, in the function OnSocketEvent, I think that you meant sock instead of pSocket: ...

Just a question, in the Server Socket Creation part, didn't you mean wxSocketServer instead of wxServerSocket ? // nPort is the port to connect to (80 for HTTP, etc.) wxSocketServer* wxCreateMyServerSocket(int nPort) { // // Create an address for the port. // This will only fail if you have a really...

Well, I think that will help a lot, though I was beginnig to get the functionnement, with this tutorial it will be far faster. Thx a lot, since I'm kind of late  .Now I'll try to include it in my code :D . However, I hope that pSocket->Accept(false) will really prevent the GUI from freezing......

I made a small modification in my code (Sleep) in order to check whether it's treated like a thread or not, and it seems that it isn't: case wxSOCKET_CONNECTION : m_server->Accept();Sleep(3000);wxMessageBox("wxSOCKET_CONNECTION\n");break; Actually, I send multiple requests of connexions to the serve...
