let's focus in these two things: 1. If a check tool button is unpressed and gets disabled, then the assigned disabled state image is shown. But if the button is pressed, and then gets disabled the active image is shown (although the button is indeed disabled). 2. Has anyone tried the SetToolDisabled...

after i spent much time dealing with issues like this, i have to say that most of the times i get a sigtrap, is due to some erroneous deallocation or access out of bounds... or stuff like that.

so with some careful examination of the code, all errors are gone. (at least i hope so). :)

solved then!

Toolbar icons

i know this subject has been discussed over and over again, with many related threads but i still can't find a suitable workflow with good results. My wish is (you guessed it) png embedded. I tried wxInclude, but i had error messages popping up at startup saying image can't be added to image list (o...

i've considered these options. The problem is, i can't figure out how to access the table data from these classes and how can i implement the conditional logic, so for a specific row and column, to be able to determine what color must be set.

the values are automatically inserted when i call grid->SetTable(), form the function i showed earlier.

the only way i can think of, is to call the (parent?) grid from inside the table function... depending on the value, and set the color. But i don't know if this is feasible.

Altering a cell font color based on its value

hello i have a derived class from wxGridTableBase and this function returns the values to the grid: wxString MyTable::GetValue( int row, int col ) { wxString str; if(normalized) str = wxString::Format(wxT("%.4f"),fData[col+row*depth]); else str = wxString::Format(wxT("%i"),iData[col+row*depth]); ret...

well in this case i don't have any pages added to the notebook so maybe that's why setBackgroundColor doesn't work. But i think it should work. as for the frame parented with a frame, i pass a null so there isn't much of an issue. edit: i also tried to add pages, but background didn't change. I use ...

notebok setBackground problem

hello i have this really simple code: testFrame::testFrame(wxFrame *frame, const wxString& title) : wxFrame(frame, -1, title) { wxNotebook *notebook = new wxNotebook(this, wxID_ANY, wxPoint(0, 0), wxSize(100, 100)); notebook->SetBackgroundColour(wxColour(192, 192, 192)); //canvas = new MyCanvas(this...

SetSelection() vs ChangeSelection()

hello again :) just a small question. Documentation says that SetSelection() is deprecated and should not be used in new code. (note: It generates pageChanged event). ChangeSelection is the proposed that we must use when we want to change page, but no event generated. So what am i supposed to do, if...

anyway, i mark this thread solved, and if you think you have sth more that may help...
