But when i load my library I thought it was suposed to enter the shared object OnInit. At least on windows when the library got loaded into memory the OnInit function a...

DatabaseLayer as a DLL

I was using databaselayer statically no problem there. Though when I tried to change it to a dll i noticed that it didn't create a .lib file. After some investigation I realized that there is not a single export in any file. So that's why there was no lib file. So how do I use this library dinamical...

What I meant is like windows that you have a dll and a lib. You can link your aplication to your .lib file so the application is aware of all the functions and classes exported by the dll. On linux I only managed to load a shared object (.so) with wxDynamicLibrary. I didnt manage to link it to my ap...

Dinamic loading Static linking on linux

Hello, I am building a portable aplication. On windows it is working great, and it is really simple, you got the dll, the lib and everything works perfect (or should). Now on Linux, there is no IDE that handles shared objects for dummies. I managed to create a so that is loaded with wxDynamicLibrary...

wxFileConfig basics

I don't know if I am missing something (perhaps a brain hehe) but the documentation for the wxFileConfig doesnt seem to explain a lot. All I want to know is how to set the configuration file I want to read and write on the constructor of the wxFileConfig object. What I thought was strange is that th...

[SUSE] Cant set the wx-config path

I am new to this linux thing, and i am getting my a** kicked every day by it. Our recent fight is trying to set my PATH to wx-config. First I did the default installation on the manual, with mkdir, configure, make, make install and ldconfig. Then I decided to use multiple configurations. So i made 2...

example.cpp would be just like this

Code: Select all

#include "example.h"
It is set to create the pch. At least it is how I do it, copied it from microsoft when it creates a project with mfc automatically.

If you dont want a file to use the pch you go to it's setting and set it not to use precompiled header
