32bit cursors

ok now that i could manage to use 32bit bitmaps on toolbars, i'd like to do the same for cursors. i use png files with alpha channels for transparency, load them into wxImages and convert these to wxbitmaps. i want to do the same for cursors. you can create a cursor directly from a wximage, but the ...

bitmaps w/ alpha on wxBitmapButton

hi! take a look at this screenshot, especially at the little hand icon (last item on the toolbar): http://vexator.net/menno.gif it's a png file with alpha channel. works fine on the toolbar as you can see, but when used on a bitmap button the alpha channel does not seem to work correctly - any clue ...

list ctrl bug?!

i have a list ctrl with some items. all of them have data (strings) assigned to them. it seems that, if i rearrange the items in the list, e.g. by moving them up or down, the assigned data is not rearranged with them. if i have e.g. - item #1 (data #1) - item #2 (data #2) and move item #2 up, it see...

driving me mad.. deleting menu items

ok it's late i'm probably just too tired.. i have wxMenu *Interface with several items appended. if i call: unsigned int count = Interface->GetMenuItemCount(); for( unsigned int i = 2; i < count; i++ ) Interface->Destroy( Interface->FindItemByPosition(i) ); .. shouldn't this actually destroy all but...

ok i found a simple workaround.. void TreeControl::OnMouse( wxMouseEvent &event ) { if( event.LeftDown() ) SelectItem( GetSelection() ); event.Skip(); } this forces my tree ctrl's to fire a wxEVT_COMMAND_TREE_SEL_CHANGED event every time the left mouse button is clicked, then the event is skipped an...

thanks for the quick reply! just tried that, didn't change anything though :/ You might also need to use 2 Different Handlermethods i want to have only one event handler to keep it flexible.. this way i can add as many trees with as many items as i want without having to modify my propertiespanel cl...

Firing events when selection changes between tree ctrl's

i have several tree ctrl's in my app, but i am using only one function to handle events for all of them, like this: Connect( wxID_ANY, wxEVT_COMMAND_TREE_SEL_CHANGED, wxTreeEventHandler(PropertiesPanel::OnSelectionChanged), 0, Properties ); As you can see, Properties is an instance of class Properti...
