Hi, I figured out that a lot of my problems were related to vs2005 configuration and way to update project's files to new version (absolute path transformed in relative path, use of %VAR% in previous version and $(VAR) in new...) I changed many things and i succeeded to have the compilation starting...

Well... Actually... as i said, i did install curl and openssl. If i understood, wxCurl is a wrapper to use curl in wxWidgets. Don't i need this?? On an other side some succeeded to install wxCurl so it should not be impossible. The errors i'm talking about are so easy to reproduce that it must be al...

well, that is even more... weird! I downloaded wxCurl and i also used the CVS repository to be sure that i had the last version. The thing is that i found absolutely no makefile in!! i'm starting to think that i don't have the right one. Is there only one wxCurl? on sourceforge? the last upd...

don't you have any error messages? Are you sure that you call the method with the "= new wxStaticText..." before the one which access the values? That would explain why it works with the "= new..." in the constructor, the objects are instanciated since the beginning, then you can access it. if i wel...

Hi, I tried to follow your advices. Everything is ok with openssl and libcurl. I downloaded wxCurl, defined the variables that were needed and i opened the curl_envvar.vcproj. When i tried to compile wxCurl, i had these errors: Compiling... base.cpp ..\..\src\curl\base.cpp(16) : fatal error C1083: C...

How to use SSL or TLS on wxSocket ?

Hi, I saw that a question like that had already been asked but... the answer was not really... complete. So i'm looking for a way to ssl or tls encrypt a connection open via a wxSocket. Something that already exists please.... Did someone already try it? Is there any guide about how to do it? Thanks...

Didn't get yet the STARTTLS thing yet, but i'll keep on trying.
Thanks

I solved the compil errors ( i think...). Don't know why, in the class, the code was like that: *static wxString cvt = _T("ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" // 22223333333333444444444455 // 67890123456789012345678901 "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" // 555555556666 // 234567890123 "0123456789+/"); So i change...

Hi, Thanks for your help. I succeeded to implement AUTH LOGIN it works fine. Now, based on what you said, i'm trying to integrate first the wxBase64 class to my project (for the PLAIN) then i'll try again Cram-md5. So how can i transform a wxString to a 'const wxUint8 *' as it's needed by the Encode...

I tried to implement Plain and Cram-MD5 authentication... (succeeded with Login) I read the rfc but no way to figure out what to do.. With Plain: It's not supposed to be so difficult as it is just about sending the "username\0username\0password" in base64 to the server. But each time i tried, it fai...

I'm not a professional of that but... I think it can come from pointers that are not deleted. For (almost) each Object * obj = new Object(); that you have you should have a delete obj; . In your case, i'll take wxImageList* imglist = new wxImageList(16, 16, true, 2); as an exemple. As it has no pare...

I think you should follow the stack until you find a call coming from your code. A piece of code and explanation about what you are trying to do could also help. But just like that, i'll say something obvious, your code (probably in do_scrip_formating at line 204) is trying to do something which doe...

Actually.... yes and no... Yes, because, when i had this message coming from this server, i tried with others. I noticed that most of them specify in the EHLO's response that they use AUTH LOGIN or whatever. No, because i didn't find another one using STARTTLS. Thus, i could not compare their behavi...
