Re: wxWidgets and Windows.h issue

There is two clear ways to fix this issue.

1. Create your own macro to define the macro needed.

2. Create an C++ source file with the functions/methods that need to use the macro without any wxWidget code/headers used in it.
Inside it include the windows.h header.

Re: Hookfunction() error : missing type specifier

cppunit is a unit testing framework used in wxWidgets 3.0 and before required to run wxWidget test code.
Did you install cppunit?

Re: Thunk Errors and Deprecation Warnings after Code::Blocks Upgrade

My guess you built an 32 bit version of wxWidgets; but, the application is 64 bit.

Re: Setting up wxWidgets to compile with a custom project

How are you building wxWidgets and how are you building your project? Why do you think having wxWidgets as a sub-module is the proper solution? What wxWidgets branch is going to be used? Git master or what? Edit: If you are using 3.0.3 or 3.1.1; is there any reason you can not ask your users to use ...

Try wxWidget 3.0.3 or patch the 3.0.2 you downloaded.

I am 80% sure this problem was patched between 3.0.2 and 3.0.3.

NOTE: You can also use an older MinGW GCC that works with 3.0.2.

Re: Unable to compile a simple application

From where did you get the mingw-gcc 5.4 64bit gcc compiler?

Re: Unable to compile a simple application

https://github.com/T-Rex/wxModularApp does not look like a good sample to use.

That message is common when the library is not the same architecture (x86, 64 bit) as is needed.

Since there has been no reply, I am guessing you went to a third website to find an answer.

Do you have any suggestion?
Inside code::Blocks select the options that match the ones you used to build wxWidgets.

SHARED=1 means check "Use wxWidgets DLL"
UNICODE=1 means check "Enable Unicode"

Re: Error while compiling wxWidget with MingW CodeBlock

What wxWidgets version are you trying to compile?

Why are you trying to do an monolithic wxWidgets build?

Why are you doing "VENDOR=cb"?
