Re: Make problem with latest trunk on OSX 10,14,2

Read the directions on how to checkout the wxWidgets git sub repos.

Re: Wrong setup.h file?

Did you try using wx-config as suggested?

Can you try using "wx-config --list" on the command and post the results. Do not enter the quotes in the command line.

You can try defining "_UNICODE" in addition to "UNICODE" to see if the other or both are needed.
I mean when compiling your application; not when building wxWidgets.

Re: Build wxWidgets from BBB

I am guessing BBB means https://beagleboard.org/black

Why do you not try doing configure/make and see if it works?

Note: without the operating system info; it is likely no one can answer your question!

Re: Don't understand warning

I'll try -Wno-attributes. The problem with wxGTK is that it behaves differently from wxMSW. I want the same behavior and look on both platforms. I don't really care if my application looks and behaves like other gtk applications, I want it to be the same on all platforms. In regard to your warning,...

Re: Build wxwidgets with system library

You likely need to build wxWidgets and OpenCV with the same PNG ZLIB and TIFF libs; but, this is just a guess on my part.

Edit: And, you appear to be trying that; I am thinking you need a cmake expert.
I suggest when asking CMake questions you put cmake in the subject.

Re: link error using wxwidgets in static for my own lib

I tested on Windows 7 64 bit; MSys2 is a development environment that works a little like Unix/Linux.
Compiler was GCC (Rev1, Built by MSYS2 project) 8.2.0

WXUSINGDLL means you are using the wxWidgets DLLs.

Only needed one code fix. main returns an int. Edit: Downloading CMake for windows to see if it will create a good CB project to see if the cmake is close to correct. diff --git a/sample/main.cpp b/sample/main.cpp index 6a2b8fb..ab5925c 100644 --- a/sample/main.cpp +++ b/sample/main.cpp @@ -10,7 +10...

Re: link error using wxwidgets in static for my own lib

You likely used the wrong defines and/or flags to build wxNano or wxNano is poorly written. Edit: Using WXUSINGDLL means you are expected to link to the wxWidgets DLLs. Edit3: I am trying to build the wxNano code using MSys2 GCC 8 to confirm the code is good using OpenCV 3.4.2 and wxWidgets 3.1.x To...

Whenever the value of items in back ticks change it is best to shutdown and restart code::blocks.
